Don’t miss out! Our 40th reunion was fantastic because so many of you were there! But it was way too short. Just think how great it will be to have Wilson grads from ALL classes on a 3-Day Cruise to Ensenada!

The cruise will allow you to spend quality time with your friends... lying around in the sun to just chat, or one of the many on board activities, meeting for breakfast, lunch or dinner, dancing all night, or quiet time by yourself.

Once Carnival opens the books for September of 2010 (probably in February this year!) and we can grab a block of rooms, a deposit of $25 p/p ($50 per room) is due within 30 days. This means you need to sign up now! Deposits are refundable until 60 days prior to sailing.

Each party that books gets mailed confirmation/invoice and a brochure, along with a personal data request that
collects your passport info, emergency contact, etc. – all the stuff that the cruise line requires in advance.

WONDERING WHY WE HAVE TO BOOK SO EARLY?????

... Fares for cruises are dropping for the most part, and that’s why cruises are booking up as strongly as ever.
There are exceptions, for example, where there is just one ship offering a given itinerary, such as is the case
in the 3-night weekend cruise market to Ensenada. No competition = higher fares (than there would be other-
wise). Since we don’t know the fares yet for Sept. of 2010, costs are speculative. But if they do decrease,
we’ll adjust the group rates accordingly. For those who can commit in advance, they are guaranteed the best
rate currently available. For those who can’t, they may or may not be able to join the group later on – it all
depends on Carnival’s inventory at that time.

JUNIOR HIGH MEMORABILIA BOARDS
We’re planning on having separate wall boards with memorabilia
from Rogers, Jefferson, Hill and Stanford Junior High Schools.
It'll be fun to look at such early photos of our grads, but it will
give those of us who kind of felt like we became a little fish
in a giant ocean once we entered our high school years
a place to mingle and to meet up with those from earlier years.

There are many, very nice
hotels to choose from in the downtown area of
Long Beach... Hilton, Hyatt, Sheraton.
However, the closest to the Yacht Club are these four –
Seaport Marina being the closest (just a walk over the 2nd St. bridge).
However, it's really old! The nicest of these will be the very new (2008) Hampton Inn & Suites. They are holding some rooms for us at a discount price. Call 562 594-3939 - mention Wilson Reunion.
